Some things I've been up to

I made a couple of cute Santa dresses with a snowflake design for some sisters.

I put these cute reindeer appliques on a couple of outfits for a friend.
I'm selling these long sleeved reindeer tees for $15 if anyone is interested. (12 months - 5T)
I've been wanting to try to make one of these Crayon Rolls and finally did. It was pretty quick and easy!

Randomness

Hunter all of a sudden loves puzzles and is really good at them. We put this puzzle together once the day before and he put it together all by himself the next day....over and over again! I was pretty impressed.

I invited Hunter's friend Jace to come over and play one morning. His mommy has newborn twins at home and it was her first day on her own with all 3 kids so I thought I'd give her a break and let the boys play. They're at an age now where they do their own thing and it actually gives me some free time, too. Hopefully we can trade kids more in the future.

Peyton turned TWO months yesterday. Where does the time go? I happened to take some pictures of her yesterday, but didn't realize yesterday was the 26th until today..whoops! We saw the doctor this morning and she's doing awesome. She's 11lbs 4oz which is in the 50th percentile. She gained 3lbs in the last 6 weeks. She is in the 75th percentile for height, but we all know that will change..haha. She's doing a 6-9 hour stretch of sleep every night which is so great for me. The only thing she's not great at is riding in the car. She HATES it. Hunter was the same way.

Fall Festival

Today was the Fall Festival at the church Hunter attends school. It was SO hot! We were all sweating. Not exactly my idea of fall fun. We made the best of it and the kids had fun. Grandma came with us and we met up with some friends. Stuff like this is always more fun when the kids can do it together.

Hunter loves a bounce house!

Pumpkin Patch

The church where Hunter goes to school has a pumpkin patch so we went up to take some pictures the other night. Hunter even got to have story time in the pumpkin patch that day while he was at school.

A Night Out

Hunter had a sleepover at Grandma's with his cousins Saturday night and we took Peyton to the bar. Haha, not really. We went to our friends' house and they have a bar in their house.

Halloween Photo Shoot

I volunteered to take pictures of a bunch of friends' kids in their halloween costumes. We had NINE kids ages 3 and under. We actually got some good ones! It was crazy, but a lot of fun!

Here are the 5 big kids

Some Firsts for Peyton

First bathing suit! With our first not-quite-so-blazing-hot front coming this weekend I thought I better get Peyton in her bathing suit for a few pictures. If I put her in her room she might get lost wearing those polka dots. (Thank you to Sarah and Jason for the bathing suit!)

First smile caught on camera!

Weekend Pictures

We didn't do much of anything this weekend. Hunter was out in the garage with Heath Sunday morning. Heath had gotten a bunch of things out of the attic including this electric race car track that used to belong to his cousins. The cars go SUPER fast. It's pretty fun! Hunter was entertained for quite a while.

Peyton got all dressed up with no place to go :o)

Ruffle Butt Onesie!

I made this onesie for Peyton. Copied the idea from a couple of friends who've ordered similar ones from me. I decided it needed something and remembered seeing a blog where a girl added a ruffle to the butt of the onesie. After some googling for instructions I added a ruffle to this one. It was really easy. So cute! I have a feeling I'll be making a few more. It's a great way to use my material scraps!

Preschool Open House

Last night we got to look around Hunter's classroom and see what he's been up to the last month. He and Daddy decorated a pumpkin and then we all sweated our tails off because we had way too many people in one tiny little room where we could barely move. Hunter been doing some fun crafts at school and they were displayed all over the walls of the room. He's having a great time and he loves his teacher to pieces.

Here's the pumpkin

Saying bye to his teacher

Spiderman!

Hunter went to a birthday party last night and the kids got their faces painted. Everyone decided to be a different super hero and Hunter picked Spiderman.

He thought Spiderman looked mad when he saw his face in the mirror so here is Hunter being a 'Mad Spiderman'.
Happy Spiderman

Pumpkin Carving

Daddy scored a free pumpkin at Publix the other day. It was priced wrong and it's their policy to give it to you for free. We've had this pumpkin carving kit since after last Halloween so the boys got set up outside to carve the pumpkin. The kit worked amazingly well and I think we have the best looking pumpkin we've ever had.

Cleaning out the seeds. Hunter wanted no part of touching that stuff.
Drawing the face from the stencil
Here's the face they chose. Now it's time to carve it.
All done and all lit up! Pretty cool!

Peyton's Birth Announcement

Announcements should be in most people's mailboxes by now so I can finally share! I saw this online and Heath duplicated it for me :o)
