Peyton has some wild hair. It sticks up in the back no matter what I do. Even when it's wet it's sticking up. I'm hoping as it gets thicker it will start to lay down.

A Big Fish and A Pretty Dress

Hunter and Daddy went out to a nearby lake to fish Saturday morning. Hunter caught one BIG FISH and four little fish. Here is the BIG FISH. He's quite proud.

Here's Peyton sporting one of her $1 dresses. I bought her 5 dresses for under $5 the other day. She really didn't NEED them, but how could I not?!

Fishin'

Besides Trick or Treating, the highlight of the weekend was fishing. Uncle Ronnie got some worms to fish with and that must have been the trick. Hunter reeled in fish after fish. At least a dozen of them - catfish, bass, and brim. He liked picking out the perfect worm to use, too. I think Uncle Ronnie has groomed him a new fishing buddy.

Where to start?!

We spent the last 4 days in Jacksonville so I have a lot of pictures to share! Let's start with Halloween since I'm sure everyone is dying to see the kids in costume.

Peyton was a cute little Bumble Bee

Plan A was for Hunter to be a race car driver, but the weather didn't cooperate so I decided to put together something that would be a little cooler for him. We used the cape Aunt Tiff made and I got some tights and made a belt and a mask. If you asked him he was Superman, but he was technically his own super hero, Super Hunter.

I put these cute reindeer appliques on a couple of outfits for a friend.

I'm selling these long sleeved reindeer tees for $15 if anyone is interested. (12 months - 5T)

I've been wanting to try to make one of these Crayon Rolls and finally did. It was pretty quick and easy!

Randomness

Hunter all of a sudden loves puzzles and is really good at them. We put this puzzle together once the day before and he put it together all by himself the next day....over and over again! I was pretty impressed.

I invited Hunter's friend Jace to come over and play one morning. His mommy has newborn twins at home and it was her first day on her own with all 3 kids so I thought I'd give her a break and let the boys play. They're at an age now where they do their own thing and it actually gives me some free time, too. Hopefully we can trade kids more in the future.

Peyton turned TWO months yesterday. Where does the time go? I happened to take some pictures of her yesterday, but didn't realize yesterday was the 26th until today..whoops! We saw the doctor this morning and she's doing awesome. She's 11lbs 4oz which is in the 50th percentile. She gained 3lbs in the last 6 weeks. She is in the 75th percentile for height, but we all know that will change..haha. She's doing a 6-9 hour stretch of sleep every night which is so great for me. The only thing she's not great at is riding in the car. She HATES it. Hunter was the same way.

Fall Festival

Today was the Fall Festival at the church Hunter attends school. It was SO hot! We were all sweating. Not exactly my idea of fall fun. We made the best of it and the kids had fun. Grandma came with us and we met up with some friends. Stuff like this is always more fun when the kids can do it together.
