The Rossi/Buss Wedding

We spent the weekend in Syracuse, NY attending one of the best weddings I've ever been to.  Lisa and John might be the happiest couple I've ever seen.  The day of the wedding was GORGEOUS (even if a little chilly), the details she focused on were amazing, and the reception was SO MUCH FUN! Over the 48 hours we were there I took 450 pictures so I have A LOT of favorites.

I'd like to quickly thank my new blog friend, Libby, for all her wonderful blog tutorials.  I created these collages with her great help.  Such an easy way to share a bunch of pictures at once!  You might be seeing a lot more of these :o)

Share the Love

So, it's Share the Love week over at The Anderson Family blog.  Emily is a neighbor and friend of mine.  They have four little ones of their own, but they feel called to adopt and it's all happened very quickly for them.  They have a little girl, Elsa, in Ethiopia waiting for them to be able to bring her home.  They're in the process of raising money for this adoption and this week she has some FUN things happening over on her blog.  FORTY-FIVE little (and big) business have donated items and she's giving it ALL away.  Well, sort of.  Donating money will get you entries into these giveaways.  The details are over on her blog so click that little link up there and go read all the about it.  The fun starts tomorrow!

Here's what I donated!  A couple of snack baggies and a cute little zippered pouch with an appliqued birdie on it.

P.S.  For those of you reading my blog, but aren't following, please consider following my blog.  I'd love to know who reads regularly and especially if you have a blog that I can check out :o)  Over there on the right is where you can 'follow'.

It's that time of year..

We can finally play outside in the evenings again!  The weather is perfect!  This is what you'll find us doing many nights a week.  Tonight we had a neighborhood game of baseball going.  You see one boy at bat and a boy on each base.... along with a couple babies playing in the middle.  Don't worry, there was a net protecting the babies from the flying baseballs.

That one time we went on a cruise....

The cruise already feels like so long ago.  When is the next vacation?!

So, we sailed on Royal Caribbean's boat called Freedom of the Seas.  It's a huge boat, like 4500 passengers plus all the crew.  And the great thing is that you don't feel like there are people everywhere.  It's amazing how well they operate these floating cities and how wonderful the customer service is.

We really enjoyed our week.  Lots of sleeping, sunning, and eating.  The one bump was that we weren't able to make one of our stops, St. Maarten.  We were really looking forward to a day off the boat and doing some shopping, but the seas (due to I don't know which hurricane) were too rough to dock the boat without the boat slamming against the dock.  So, they tried it, it didn't work, they untied us, and off we went.  So sad!

So onto the pictures!

Not long after we got on the boat, still docked at Port Canaveral.

Formal Night #1.  Bad outfit choice with the sunburn!

Many nights we sat here and people watched before dinner.

At our St. Thomas stop we went sailing.  It was just a sailboat, 2 crew, and 6 passengers.  We sailed, snorkeled, swam, ate, and drank.  We met some people from our cruise online prior to the trip so we booked this sail with them.  So fun!

The water is simply amazing!
SO BLUE!

Oh, and I took a little nap on the bow.

Be thankful...

...that you can't hear the sound that goes with this face.

Peyton very much knows what she wants these days.  But the whole not being able to talk thing is getting in the way of her wants so all she does is YELL.  Loudly.  A lot.  I know I should wish the time away, but I'm ready for some better communication.....and she could learn to walk and I'd be okay with that, too.

Be glad you can't hear the sound that comes with this face.

Quarantined

When Hunter had his stomach bug last week I was determined to not let it spread through the family and especially not to Peyton.  We had been up all night and by the time Peyton woke the next morning Hunter was done with the throwing up.  I quarantined him to the playroom and put the gate up to keep Peyton out.

What's going on here?

I want in!

Maybe I can climb?

Oh, it's Hunter! (Look at that sweet smile)

I will touch you!

My tactics worked.  Peyton did not get the bug and neither did mommy or daddy!

How Big Is Peyton?

SO BIG!
She prefers the one armed style.
When you prompt her she gets really serious as if to say "I know this one!"

SO BIG!... with just one arm.

Hunter's 4th Birthday Party

This 4th birthday was celebrated over and over!  First, with family in Jax.  Second, as a family at Chuck E. Cheese on his birthday.  Third, with friends at school.  And then a bowling, golf, arcade party!

We had the party at Boardwalk Bowl.  The kids bowled 2 games (well, we didn't finish the second game).  Then they played cosmic mini golf which was super cool.  Then they played a few arcade games.  It was nonstop fun!

We missed the final birthday celebration with Heath's mom and sister's family last night because Hunter had a stomach bug.  I'm happy to report it was a short lived bug and he's back to normal already.  He's home from school today just to be safe and not spread any lingering germs around.

The Giant Tooth

3 teeth

Don't teeth usually come in pairs?  At least the bottom two and top two, right?  Peyton got her bottom two teeth and about a month ago one of the top ones.  That top one is halfway in and it's all alone and it seems big up there all by itself!  The big one next to it is close, but the little one on the other side of it will probably be next.  That might be even funnier!
