Christmas Morning 2013

The tree prior to Santa gifts being put out.

This year I decided to set up the camera on a tripod while we opened gifts. I had the remote trigger in my hand and just took pictures throughout the gift opening.

Grandma checking out her photo calendar.

Pictures always end in tickles…..

And subsequently a foot to the face……. true story.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Waller's

My kids are SPOILED with multiple gift giving occasions when it comes to Christmas.  Christmas usually lasts for a week or so for them.

Heath made my mom this beautiful cutting board.

Their retirement isn't what they envisioned it to be.  My mom is the most devoted caregiver for my dad.

The Hello Kitty obsession is still going strong.

Maya, she lights up a room.

Peyton's Christmas Program

If you remember how Peyton performed in her Christmas Program last year then you know it could only get better this year.  Here is last year's recap.  This year they did more of a play of the Christmas story.  It was adorable.  The girls in her class were angels.  She did SO GOOD! (video at the end)  A total transformation from last year.  So proud of her!

With one of her favorite friends.

Angel braid!  I had to practice this one...

One of her wonderful teachers.  So blessed that she has taught both of my kids.

Santa 2013

The kids first saw Santa at Gaylord Palms when we went to see the ICE exhibit.  Peyton actually wanted to see him and ended up on his lap and he picked her up.  The pictures were precious, however they make you buy at least the $50 package.  No thank you!  So, to get a picture I took the kids to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa again.  Peyton was not as excited this time as you can see below.  She ended up standing next to him, but that's as good as it got.

FSU Homecoming - Part 3 - The Surprise Tailgate Baby Shower

Chad and Kristin are having a little boy.  Since they live 7 hours away we decided that a little tailgate baby shower would be perfect.  We love to celebrate our friends' babies!  Two Sweets Bake Shop here in Orlando hooked me up with the cutest and yummiest FSU themed treats.  The necklaces are made out of real gum balls!

It says Jameson.  I think a lot of people thought we were celebrating Jameis Winston, but Jameson will be the name of their son.

FSU Homecoming Weekend - Part 1 - Parade and Site Seeing

We really look forward to Homecoming Weekend at FSU.  It's become something that a lot of our friends do with their kids.  This will be the last year that we take only Hunter.  Peyton will get to come next year.  We went to the parade on Friday and then went over and saw all the sports trophies and even got to tour the new indoor practice field.  The guys thought that was pretty darn cool.
