Okay, okay....

I've been getting so many complaints on the not-so-happy-Hunter pictures so let me post some happy ones.

Look, no crying! And he's floating all by himself!
Hunter graduates from swim lessons on Friday.
Why is it that toys get old, but the phone never does?

Hunter likes to sit up on the ledge and then lean foward and fall into the pool.
Cousin Ethan loves to play with Hunter.
It's nearly impossible to get all 3 of them to look at the camera at the same time.
We were at Bass Pro Shops and Hunter kept looking around me at this 4-wheeler so I put him on it and he thought he was so cool.

Not So Happy

Everyone is always saying how Hunter is always so happy whether they're seeing him in person or in pictures. And yes, that is probably the case over 90% of the time, but I hate to break it to his loyal that he does indeed have his moments.

More Beach and Jacksonville Pictures

Eating animal crackers on the side of the pool.

Ashton taught him how to give a high 5, too!
He was so proud of himself.

How big is Hunter?

SOOOO BIG!!!!!!!!!!

This is Hunter's latest trick. We've been saying it for a long time, but my niece Ashton was the first one to get him to do it.

We're Home Again!

I have tons and tons of pictures from the last 8 days. I'll start with Hunter's first time at the beach. He wasn't bothered by the sand. He crawled around in it a good bit. He wasn't so sure about the water and the waves though. We had a nice stay at the beach and had great weather other than one afternoon. Hunter is getting a little tan on him. We're glad to see he's got mommy's skin and not daddy's.

These pictures are from the day we got to the beach. We went walking after dinner and just stuck Hunter in the sand in his diaper. I have cute ones in his little swimsuit and cute hats so stay tuned.

Off to the beach

We're off to the beach for a few days with my parents. Then we'll go to Jacksonville for the rest of the week. I'll be back with pictures of Hunter's first time at the beach. Have a great week!

The Fro

Hunter has some wild hair. It's getting thick and it's board straight. I've had to trim the top a couple of times because it starts hanging in his eyes. I'm just not ready for the big boy haircut just yet. I like it even if it does hang over his ears. We've been swimming a lot lately. He has swim lessons in the morning, then we ususally swim after his nap, and after dinner daddy takes him swimming. After his hair dries it looks like Hunter has stuck his finger in a light socket. It pretty much stands straight up off his head. I love it. It's his version of an afro.

I feel like I don't have much to blog about. Things have been very low-key here the last week. I came down with a cold on Sunday and I'm still trying to get rid of the last bit of it. Heath had a cold before me and then he got a flu bug. Hunter has stayed well through all of it though. We have no plans this weekend and we'll spend next week getting ready for our beach vacation that starts on Saturday. We'll be meeting my parents in Ormond Beach for 5 days and then going on to Jacksonville for the rest of the week and weekend. This will be Hunter's first experience at the beach. Should be fun.

We went for Hunter's 9-month doctor appointment last week and he's just under 18 pounds. All the crawling has slowed down the weight gain I guess. He's in the 10th percentile for height and weight. The doctor calls him petite. I call him my little peanut. Of course, this means nothing as far as how big a guy he'll be down the road, but for now he's little.

Father's Day

Hunter and I had pictures made together and we gave them to Heath for Father's Day. These are the 2 that we chose. Hunter was 8 months when they were taken.
