A trip to Callahan

Hunter LOVES going to Uncle Ronnie's house. Anything goes when he's there. It's non-stop fun.

He was dying to go fishing so that's just what they did. He caught a tiny one, but that was it. He has his own little pole and he can cast it and reel it in all by himself.

They've got some semi-wild rabbits roaming around. They're pretty friendly.

I told Aunt Tiff that Hunter would love a cape for his birthday so she whipped up quite a fancy one for him! He loves it.

She doesn't look impressed....

Since hair clips won't stay in her hair, I had to resort to what would.

Hunter's 3rd Birthday Bash!

Gymboree was a great place to have a birthday party for this age group. They all had a really great time. We did a dinosaur theme so all the activities were centered around dinosaurs. These are the best kinds of parties. All I had to do was show up with a cake and they do the rest! That is exactly what I needed for this year's party.

An attempt at a group picture. Not so easy with toddlers. The picture is only missing one kid.

And Mommy...
The dinosaur cake. He blew out the candles twice, he was very anxious to do that! The second time he still did it before the singing of "Happy Birthday" was over.
Hunter and Garland checking the place out before the rest of the kids arrived.

Parachute Time!

Hunter Being TWO

This video is composed of various pictures I've taken throughout Hunter's year of being two. In just two days he will be THREE! I can't believe it! Two has been a really fun year for us. I wouldn't say we had the Terrible Twos at all. Now three? I'm bracing myself for three.

It's almost party time!

I tried to take some pictures in honor of Hunter turning 3 (the big day is Sunday with his party on Saturday), but there wasn't quite enough light at that time of day. We'll have to reshoot, but I got a couple decent ones.

A Beanstalk!

Last week they planted a bean at school and brought it home to grow. Hunter is very excited that his beanstalk is growing!

Just a few days and Hunter will be THREE! I finally got some video (it's at the end of this post) of Hunter swimming. I'm working on a special project to put up for his birthday so stay tuned later this week.

8 Days Old

Over a week old and Peyton is a dream baby so far. To be honest, she only cries when she's hungry. I know that can and will change, but so far she's a very content baby who just goes with the flow. We went on our first outing today with Grandma here to help. We went to a couple different stores and then to Chick-fil-a for lunch. She didn't make a peep the whole time we were gone. Maybe she'll enjoy shopping with me! She's doing really well at night, too. Most nights she's up twice and sleeps well in between.

Hunter, so far, is the sweetest big brother. He asks to hold her a few times a day. He loves to hug and kiss her. He hasn't showed an ounce of jealousy which surprises me a little bit. He doesn't care who's holding her. Things could change once she's mobile and getting into 'his' toys, but for now he's adjusting really well. I didn't think it would go this smoothly.

I did another photo shoot yesterday and got some more great shots. Not sure how I'm going to choose which ones to display and which ones to use on her announcement!

It's hard work being this cute
Lots of hair!

Attitude already?

A Monster and an Alligator

Zach and his parents came over to visit us and see Peyton. Hunter came out of his room wearing his three eyed monster costume and Zach just happened to have an alligator costume in the car. They were so cute with their poses.

High Five!

They're getting so big...
