Christmas Morning

This year we instituted the 3 gift rule.  Each kid got something they need, something they read, and something they want.  And they got a Santa gift.  This made gift buying much easier.  We really thought out what we wanted to get them instead of a billion little things.  For once, the house is not FULL of toys.  

Christmas at Dedi's

Our Christmas celebrations usually start with a gathering at Dedi's.  It great to see those that we don't get to very often throughout the year.  She always serves gumbo and it's goooood.

Peyton bonded with Morgan over a plate of vegetables.  It was so cute!


She got a Leappad....

Peyton fell in love with Sayer's dog.  She likes the ones that are more her size.  She now wants a dog of her own :)

Peyton's Christmas Program

 We predicted exactly how this would go down.  Peyton would stand up with her class and not sing a single word of any of the songs.  And that's exactly how it went.  But she looked cute :)  I have 47 variations of this....

Here are two songs that they sang.  She sings them non-stop at home.... of course!

I took an updated cousins picture for my in-laws just before Christmas.  They've changed a bit since last year!

Santa

Peyton claimed that she would sit on Hunter's lap who would be sitting on Santa's lap, but when we got there it was evident that that wouldn't be happening.....

It was another year of me being in the Santa picture.

Pretty Light

The sunset light was so pretty at Uncle Ronnie's the last time we were there.  The kids were not dressed in anything special, but I just love these pictures.

She is such a ham!

I just know there have already been so many memorable conversations had on this dock..... and many more to come.

My kids are so blessed to have these two in their lives.
