Weekend with the Chaloupeks

Friday we met up with the Chaloupeks at Magic Kingdom. Daddy got to come, too!

Then they stayed with us for 2 nights before they left on a Disney cruise.
This was the scene most of the morning. In 10 years this will not be okay, but at this age it's so cute to see :o)

EPCOT

What have I been doing that I haven't posted in a week? I haven't a clue.

We went to Epcot last week. It's the Flower and Garden Festival out there right now. They have tons of characters made out of flowers. It's really pretty and quiet impressive. The weather was perfect, the crowd was light, and most of all the kids had fun! We're so greatful to our friend, Jennifer for inviting us so often. Hunter has no idea how lucky he is.

Peyton's first encounter with a princess. She looks quite mesmerized with Snow White.
Hunter doesn't have a clue who most of these princesses are, but he's all about getting his picture taken with them. This is Alice.
On the Nemo ride
The boys went to help lead the crowd in The Pledge of Allegiance. Pretty sure they haven't a clue what that is, but they were willing participants!

Who knew you could do a craft at Disney?

Peyton's First Sleepover

Peyton stayed with Grandma and Grandpa over night while I went with girlfriends to the beach overnight and Heath went to Tallahassee to see the Spring Football Game. It was my first night without her and we both did just fine. She's attached to me, but only if she knows I'm around. She was a good girl for my mom. Here are some pictures I took while we were up there.

Measuring spoons always make a good toy
She's a little grabby these days
She still likes her brother
And she loves to just hang out outside

Hunter's Sleepover at Uncle Ronnie's

What seems like forever ago we promised Hunter a sleepover at Uncle Ronnie's when he was fully potty trained. We were finally able to fulfill that promise last weekend. Saturday morning Uncle Ronnie came and picked him up from Grandma's house. 27 hours later they brought him back. Apparently, that wasn't long enough. Hunter had WAY too much fun with Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Pat. He was not ready to come home. HUGE tears when they brought him back. After reminding him that he had school and friends and soccer to go home to he changed his tune and accepted that he could do again another time.

My little soccer player

Saturday was Hunter's first game. It went much better than I expected. Technically, we lost, but I know Hunter had a good time. He ran his little heart out for sure.

All suited up!

A picture at the park with my babies
Well, tomorrow is my birthday. It's a jam packed day. Hunter goes to school, then I'll pack the car to go out of town, get my hair cut and highlighted, pick Hunter up, pick Daddy up from work, and then drive to Jax. Hunter will finally get his sleepover at Uncle Ronnie's house on Saturday. Daddy is going to Tally to see the Spring football game. Peyton is going to hang out with Grandma. And I'm running away to the beach with some college girl friends! I can't wait!

A Winner!

I have this picture of Hunter at 6 months old. It's one of my very favorite. I always knew I'd need to have one similar for the next child. My mother-in-law has a wall with her three grandsons at 6 months old and all have a similar theme. We needed to think of something to do for Peyton that would fit the theme. I think it came out perfect!

Could her skin be any more perfect?
Attention family members - If you want a print of Peyton please let me know what size. I'll be placing an order in about a week.

One way to spend Easter weekend

Between church and family activities Heath spent his weekend doing this. Digging up 1500 sq. ft. of dead grass from our yard. By doing it himself we're saving several hundred dollars. I'm not so sure it's worth it!

First he rented a grass cutter and cut everything up so he could just shovel it out. Here it is all cut up.
Then he had to load it by the wheel barrel full into this trailer. That right there is FOUR tons of dirt and dead grass. He did every single bit of it himself. And thankfully his uncle volunteered to help him unload it at the dump.

And here's what's left. It will require 3 pallets of sod. A project for another weekend.

Happy Easter!

Last night we went to the Saturday night Easter service. I think this is the third year we've done it that way. It makes Easter Sunday a lot easier on us. Our church is CRAZY on Easter Sunday. So, last night we dressed in our Easter best. I did my best to match us. We went with a pink & navy theme.

These first few pictures were taken by our friend, Paul. (Thanks Paul!)

Love this one.
She found the grass.... all done!
Easter basket full of Spiderman stuff (Thank you Target Dollar Spot!)
And this is what a 7 month old does with an Easter basket.
We set up a one man egg hunt for Hunter. All his eggs were filled with money. This one was the Golden Egg. He was so excited for his FIVE DOLLARS!

Grandma P. was here for the morning
