Make Your Own Silhouette

I've seen these before and thought they were the cutest thing. Never thought I could make my own. My friend posted a tutorial on her blog recently and it's so easy! (Thanks, Emily!) The hardest part is getting a good profile picture. I love the way they turned out. I never realized Peyton had such a flat forehead. Love her little double chin. They'll be a great addition to our living room walls.

These are adorable!! I read the tutorial and it seems so simple. I wonder if you skipped the black paint and instead used spray adhesive to attach black cardstock to the back of the photo. Then you would cut out the photo with the cardstock attached and have your silhouette. I'm just thinking out loud. Since everything is wedding in my life, I immediately thought of this wedding...

Lisa, I'm sure that would work. It would eliminate a step, too.

Robyn, I'm not sure I'm THAT crafty. Sewing is very new to me right now.
