Heath's Business Venture

Heath has started a little side business that goes hand in hand with my photography business.  He's making handcrafted picture frames.  They come in many sizes, shapes, and colors.  They will make a picture really stand out on your wall.  It's like an art piece.  I personally LOVE them.  Currently, we are only selling in Orlando and Jacksonville (they will be hand delivered), but that may change in the future.  Contact us for pricing at info@willowtreeframes.com .  And like us on Facebook: Facebook.com/willowtreeframes

The FedEx Car

Since the Daytona 500 was last weekend, the FedEx race car (last year's car) made a visit to Heath's office last week.  Heath took Hunter to work with him (a first) so that he could see it.  Pretty cool stuff this little guy gets to do!

Instagram Randoms

Hunter was Fruit of the Week for showing LOVE.

His teacher had a birthday so another mom and I headed up collecting money and taking in cake pops (she made those!) to let the kids celebrate with her.  I know it made her feel special.

We've seen the Jacksonville grandparents two weekends in a row.

Peyton got a manicure from our neighbor, Marcie.  She was all about the blue nail polishes.  If you're into nails and are on Instagram, follow Marcie @madebymarcie.  She changes her nail polish every single day!

I finally used my Christmas present, a Silhouette Cameo, and made a quote for Peyton's room.  Love it!

One rare cold morning we built a fort.  Who needs toys?!

I crafted some Valentine mailboxes for the kids to put their valentines in.  Mailboxes purchased in the Target Dollar Spot.

Mini Vacation

Off Topic:  Numbers 1 and 5 were the top vote getters in the poll yesterday.  Although I like #5 it is not the best representation of Peyton, in my opinion.  Heath's favorite has been #1 so we're going with that.  Thanks for voting!

Heath and I went on a little getaway two weekends ago.  We went over to the Panama City area to visit our friends Chad and Kristin.   We always seem to do this is the winter time and the past couple of times it's been FREEZING.  This time the weather was much more enjoyable.  We stayed at the beach in a quaint little beach town.  We mostly ate, drank, and slept.  It was just what we needed....a relaxing getaway.

I have this canvas of Hunter at age 2 hanging in my house.  I knew that I wanted to get one of Peyton around the same age.  I've been trying for months and I think I finally have some that qualify, but I can't choose!  I took this picture of Hunter in such a natural state and ideally I wanted one of Peyton with a natural expression.  Well, not a chance.  That girl doesn't stop moving!  So, I have 5 images below and I'd love for you to vote on which one is your favorite and will best go with this picture of Hunter.  THANK YOU!  I'll let you know what I decide.

My Valentines

Love them.

My dear friend Lisa came to Florida for a little business and since she was only a couple hours away I went and kidnapped her and brought her back to hang out with us for a couple days.  It would be a shame for her to be so close and not see her!  She is also a budding photographer up in NY. I had a newborn scheduled while she was here so she was able to assist me with that.  (You can see that session here if you'd like.)

It's been a while since she's been able to hang out with us with the kids around.  I warned her that it would take Peyton a little bit to warm up.  She was true to form and gave a bunch of dirty looks at first.  But if you let a two year old go through your make-up bag you have an instant best friend.  And that's no joke.  She then wanted Lisa to do everything for her.  Of course, the next morning was another 30 minute warm up period, but they were best friends again in no time :)

Hunter seemed to think Lisa was his cousin, Sayer.  He called her Sayer for three days!  Sayer, you are missed :)  The day after she left he asked, "when are we going to see Lisa again?"  Luckily, I have an answer.  We're excited to see her (and JB) in June!
